Need 64 bit sound drivers for dx6120 running on Windows 7

If I'm running a 64-bit version of Windows, do I need 64-bit drivers for my devices?

First be sure you have downloaded and installed the correct sounddrivers.Meaning win 7 64 bit.
Not to be confused with 32 bit.You need 64 bit.

Next go to control panel,sound.Click on speakers then configure.Choose quadrophonic or 5.1.
Then run a test on each.
Also go to properties.and be sure the levels are turned up.
You may need to reboot after you do this for sound to work.

Check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit System Type. Go to Start menu > right-click on Computer > Properties. Take note of the System type.

Please check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system. Go to Start menu -> right-click on Computer -> Properties. Take note of the System Type.
Now, there's Z601 driver specific for Windows 7, however, the vista drivers work. Download the compatible driver for your operating system using the links below:

You'll probably need to obtain drivers for the affected hardware in order for it to work with Windows 7. Check the individual component manufacturer's support pages to download and install any updated software and drivers.

Be forewarned that Windows 7 drivers are not available for every piece of hardware, in which case the device will not work fully or at all. You'll have to decide whether to replace the hardware with something compatible or learn to live without it. Make sure you obtain "32 bit" or "x86" drivers if you are running the 32 bit version of Windows 7; or "64 bit" or "x64" drivers if you are running the 64 bit version of Windows 7, when given a choice between the two.

It sounds like you are running a 32 bit operating system XP, Vista, or Windows 7 (32).
The 32 bit Operating Systems are only able to see and use about 3Gb of RAM. To use a greater amount you will need a 64 bit OS (either Windows XP/64 or Windows 7/64) or one of the open source 64 bit operating systems.

Yes it is.
Just make sure you download or purchase Win 7 x 64.

If your doing the upgrade you need to have winxp x 64 installed on your pc first.

windows 7 has two different versions on the format side and that is 64/32

Now if your running 64 bit chances are is your printer does not like the driver that came with it so you need to find a 64 bit driver or downgrade to 32 bit windows 7 operating system.

If windows is not recognizing the printer is there you may need to download a updated driver for the printer before it will work correctly.
