Printer problem lexmark and hewlett packard

I just purchased a lexmark 4800 series wifi printer, i cannot get it to work,no matter what I tried, same with a hewlett packard printer, either it says printer spooling not able to print possible vpn or the lex will not connect, even called lexmark help anybody please

I have the same problem. My Lexmark X4850 does not work with Vista - I get an error message during installation saying that the drivers cannot be installed because the 'driver is not compatible with a policy enabled on your computer that blocks NT4.0 drivers'. Surely this implies the driver is not suitable for VISTA despite what Lexmark say?

Turn off all your security software (antivirus, firewalls), download the latest drivers from the lexmark site, manually extract them to a folder without running the setup wizard- connect printer to usb- go to the folder you extracted the files to, right click on the setup file and 'run as administrator'- it should successfully install and go wireless-

Hello,

Please try the below listed steps that should resolve the issue.

While the printer is ON, unplug the power cord from back of the printer.
Also unplug any other cables connected to it. ( USB / Telephone, LAN cable etc )
Wait for 3 minutes.
Plug in the Printer Power Cord directly to wall outlet and then to the printer.
Printer should power ON automatically, else press the ON button to do so.
Now try making a Copy. It should work.
After which connect all the cables / cords that were unplugged.

If it has worked before try power off, unplugging the power cord and USB cord from the printer. Wait 1 minute then reconnect cords and power back on. If wifi only, try a wifi power off/on.

How to print wirelessly from android phone on hp laserjet p1102w

it dependes if you have local wifi where your HP printer is connected.
If yes, you only need to install HP ePrint app.

After you start the app ignore activate printing via hp cloud, you don't neet it. If you are with your Android on the same WiFi your app will identify the printer on the network and you only need to indicate the photo or file. Open it and print. Tha'ts all.
