i have the same problem i connected to xbox live last night and i was waiting for over haf an hour to get into a game and still did not work, but all my other games work fine online :S

My son has been having the same problem. He can actually start a match and sometimes complete one. But the screen wiil freeze within 5 minutes. I have been on the phone 7 times regarding this problem. They are aware that other people are having this problem. They have no clue why it is happening. They have tried evrything. Nothing seems to work. How many of you that are having this problem have a refurbished unit? I don't have this problem with any of our other games GRAW 2. Rinbow six Vegas etc..We all need to call XBOX and bitch like crazy. Their number is on my speed dial it is 1800 4 myxbox. If we keep complaining maybe they wiil do something. I told them if they don't fix it I would buy a PS3.

I can't seem to get into the match. It always makes me the host and now that it's been patched not enough people are joining my game. Do you know what the issue might be?

Same problem...after selecting a game it searches (on and on) for match quality and such. Some times it's a few minutes, sometimes never...ugh

 mine just gets into the game for about 2 seconds and it says i get kicked, and the lobby is closed, its starting to really piss me off

Hey I'm having the same problem too!
But it says that I was booted from the lobby. The odder thing is, my friend brought over his memory card. I loaded his gamertag and we could play CoD4 online with his gamertag but not mine.

it tells me i cannot connect to the host who is my friend but i can connect to others who are not my friend

yea my problem is worse because right as i join a game the screen freezes but the xbox doesnt since i can eject the disc and end up at eh dashboard and this only happens on COD4

your problem is probobly because your NAT is strict or moderate. on the xbox 360 dashboard, go to the last one, and test your xbox live connection. if it says strict or moderate, you have a problem. to fix this you need to go inside your modem. get your instruction manuel and find the code to get into the settings. once your there you can do several things to fix it. what i did was enable my UPnP, or something like that. for other very useful tips go to xboxlivetheguide.com. i hope it works for you!

I do, has anyone complained to Activision or Infinity Ward, it can't be live, as it works with other games, and it's not the voice comm chat, cos i don't use that and it's still screwed.

Keep getting kicked out of Xbox live games, can't connect to host errors and generally pissed off withthe service. It's a great online game when yu get chance. Now cannot connect to games at all !!

yes when i go to find match it goes to the screen then nothing happens.... i wait and it still says''locating a match....this countainues forever.....its so bad!

sometimes very rarely i get in to a lobby in as little as ten minutes the rest are at least 30 mins all my other games load in seconds. Does anyone have a reason or answer to my problem?
