I have a ps3 it wont accept any disks only eject

This is a bad drive. I'd replace it immediately before trying anymore disks lest it damage the disks. Usually this occurs when there is a read error. It is also possible there is a disk stuck in the drive, jammed inside, the sensors, sensing the second disk automatically ejects the one you put in. Either way remove the drive and replace it with a PS3 replacement drive. (Note a way to test if it's a bad bluray lense is to stick a DVD in the drive. If it accepts the DVD and plays, then it can only read the DVDs and not the blu ray disks. If this is the case you've blown the blu ray laser, it still needs to be replaced.) If all else fails take it to a tech place and have them diagnose the problem.

If you took it apart because of a stuck disk then you need take the deck apart again leave the 2 covers off place a disk on the spindle turn your console on and then press eject.

Hi, best thing to do to eject disk is
1.power of the console
2. hold the eject button and the power button down at the same time
3. then reach around to the back of the console and put the switich on
4. hold for ten seconds and thhe disk should come out

The disc might be scratched or incompatible with the PS3.

Try this first: Hold down the eject button for 10 - 15 seconds. this is supposed to work as a manual eject for the PS3. If that does not work, Try Reformatting the PS3 hard drive, youll find the option under settings in the PS3 menu

Don't 4get 2 backup ur stuff first!

You can try to hold the eject botton for 20-30 sec and it will reset the drive.

I found a way to eject the disk:

1. Power off the PS3 on the main switch on the back of the console
2. Press and hold the Eject button
3. Turn on the main power switch
4. The PS3 LED will go green and the fan will spin at max speed
5. Wait a few seconds and press the eject button a couple of times, the disk should now eject
6. watch the PS3 die after 30s or so…

This procedure did not fix my PS3 but at least I got my disk back before sending it to Sony for repair.

Hold the "Eject" button for ten seconds and try it. Oh and if you have a 40 gb model (2 USB ports) and the Eject button dosent work then try this, Turn off the back of the PS3 (Main power switch) and then hold the eject button (while the main power is off) keep your finger pressed on the eject button flick on the main power switch and it should sound like some HUGE fan don't get scared, wait until the fan stops turn off your ps3, start it up and insert the disk and IT SHOULD WORK

I bought a PS3 yesterday and had to take it back - when entering a disk it would get pulled in and start to spin but would only go in still leaving about a half inch sticking out - it would spin for about 15 seconds and then stop. I had to take it back and get a replacement which worked fine.

Press and hold the eject button for more than 10 seconds. Sony included a trick in the program to force eject. Hope this helps.
