TV doesn't turn on

TV doesn't turn. Before the TV no longer was able to turn on, when pushing the I/O switch, the on light would stay lit for about 2-3 seconds and then shut off. Had to continuously push the on button to get the TV to start. After awhile, this no longer works.

Most likely you have some bad capacitors on the power supply PCB. These sets are famous for this problem. If you try to tackle it yourself, look towards the front of the supply and you will see these capacitors bulged on top. There are normally about 4 of these that I change. The board will have to be pulled out so that the solder joints can be accessed. Thanks
