Question about Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) Console
I was playing Madden 08 on ps2 and tried to save a profile after a game and it said the memory card has been removed or replaced. So I pulled it out and blew into the memory card. And it still said the same thing. I turned the system off and went to the browser and it says no data but there's 129 kb of memory left. It does this in both memory card slots. What can I do to fix it? I don't have the disposable income to just buy another one when I feel like it.
WELL THIS AN IDEA FROM ME. THERE MUST BE SOMTHING WRONG WITH HE SLOT ARE THE MEMORY CARD.
!. FIRST I WOULD CHECK INSIDE THE SLOT IF IT HAS ANY DUSK , IF IT DOES DO NOT BLOW IN IT, JUST USE A PIECE OF PARER A TRY TO WIPE IT OUT.
2. SECOND I WOULD CHECK THE MEMOERY CARD IF ANY OF THE PIECES THAT GO INSIDE SLOT ARE MISSING, IF SO THEN IT WON'T WORK ANYMORE.
3. THEN I WOULD INSERT THE MEMOERY CARD , AND PUSH IT A LITTLE HARDER INSIDE, mAY BE ITS NOT FULLY INSIDE.
Hope it works for you.

You will see two screws or so that hold the memory card together. open the case of the memory card, The circuit board is probably slid back and not being held forward so that it inserts fully into the card reader on the PS2. Sometimes, the retianer that keep the memory Circuit board forward breaks, and you will have to use your ingenuity to figure a way to keep the circuit board pushed forward.
