the time is about 21 minutes off on the Magellan. Can't find anyplace to change the time. If it is controlled by the Satellite how can it be off 21 minutes. We have it set for central time zone
I have a Magellan Roadmate that's off 9 mins currently and has been getting steadily worse. Any fixes?

My Magellan GPS clock is off by 7 minutes. This seems impossible; but it is. On one thread I read that a complete reset will fix this but of course I would lose all information with no guarantees it wouldn't happen again.
I have a similar problem with my Maestro 3225. It is off by 3 minutes and 39 seconds right now and seems to be growing about 1 minute per week. Eventually the ETA will be useless without some extra math. A GPS receiver only works by measuring extremely precise timing signals, so I am sure that it internally knows time to better than a microsecond (probably nanoseconds) to tell me where I am as accurately as it does. Go figure.
