Problem for HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer
HP Officejet 4550 print driver will not install.
I installed the drivers from the hp website. The scanner and fax are working as to be expected. However, during the installaion process when I connected the usb cable the found new hardware wizard failed to properly install the printer. The error message I received was "The specified module was not found." Any ideas/suggestions are greatly apprciated.

- Yes. I even did a system restore thinking there might be an issue with the windows installer. By the way, I am running Windows XP.Solution #1

Have you tried uninstalling the printer and reinstalling? That would probably be the 1st thing I would do, especially since you got the error message.
Also, make sure you are installing it using a User Account that has Admin priviledges
Try disabling your security software and run the install. Be sure to start security software when finished.
