moded cs327 conair infinity hair straightner does not turn on and its new . I already tried reseting the outlet and it still wont turn on. what can i do?

FIRST CHECK PLUG FUSE HAS NOT BLOWN , THEN CHECK ELECTRICAL WIRE FOR ANY BURNS OR BREAKS.
