Question about Uniden Cordless Phone
So I am a tech. Took apart phone. Confirmed circuit is fine. Yep it's the same problem you get with TV remotes. Repeated use of key has worn off the metal oxide on the rubber pad of key. Tried the old graphite trick, but that only works for awhile.
So how do I order new membrane?
I've taken a look at the uniden australia site and it does not offer to buy or order pieces. Mostly likely, they'll ask to send it to a 'specialist'.
Ebay is always an option, if you know the exact membrane your looking for. Or find a local specialist shop, it should be cheaper than sending it in.
Thats all I can offer. Hope it helps.
