MAINS FUSE BLOWN WHILST OVEN IN USE

CANNON CHICHESTER 10575G TONIGHT - MAIN OVEN IN USE - TIMER SET-
HEARD 'POP' FROM ANOTHER ROOM. OVEN GONE OUT AND TIMER NOT WORKING. CHECKED FUSE IN PLUG- 3 AMP-BLOWN. REPLACED FUSE. PLUGGED IN AGAIN AND 'POP' BLOWN AGAIN.
CHECKED BULB OK IN OVEN. COULD IT BE TIMER, OR ?

Same problem, fuse keeps blowing. had the sides off cant see anything obvious! any solutions?
