I have a dual-boot (Win98/W2K) system with Pioneer DVD-ROM DVD-104 drive.
This drive is working properly under Win98 but not recognizing DVDs in W2K.
Please Help.

Sorry, I have solved the puzzle. It is as follows:
Go to Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager, IDE ATAPI
Controllers, and select Primary or Secondary IDE Channel to which your
DVD-ROM drive is hooked to. Then go to Advanced Settings and turn Transfer
Modes to "DMA if available". I hope it will solve your problem. Let me know
if it works.
