Question about Genius MousePen 8x6 (MOUSEPEN8X6)
After installing hardware/software - whenever i plug in usb cable, cursor moves about screen on its own....without pen or mouse being touched/moved. i suspect its a faulty usb cable...what do you think?
I just recently had the same problem, and since I . . . kind of messed around inside the tablet, I'm pretty sure it's the USB cable. Of course, there is no way I can be 100% positive, but I'm thinking that's the problem.

I had that problem and I found two things that may cause it:
1- Installing the cable at a USB port otherthan the port you used the first time, which would lead to conflict - Try restarting your computer
2- Try removing the driver, restart computer and re-install it again.

Is it maybe possible it is a hardware prob? maybe the directional sensor in the tablet was displadced.
BTW i have the same tablet and need an harddrive replacement/upgrade, how did you manage to do that? what kind of drive and where to buy? Viewsonic seems not so eager to help me out with that.
