What I did was turn OFF my zen C plus, and as soon as I turned it back ON, i held down the play/pause button, the back button, and the select button/joystick. this brought me to that menu that offers unloading the firmware and rebooting and so forth. I selected the first option, which scanned the player; then I rebooted it, and not only did my player read on my PC, but ALL my music came back too! It was sweetness in its form.

Usb is not recognized

unplug it altogether! put a pin in the reset hole, but dont worry this will only take everything off and then put it back on again. everything WILL be on the zen player still... Wait for it to load media library, which is stored on the computer. Plug it back in. It shoud work! If it doesnt do it again. And again... and again...

DO NOT WORRY IT WILL WORK EVENTUALLY!!!

Computer doesn't recognize device is plugged in.

Hi,
try aa different USB Port if your computer Has One.
Turn the power On The MPEG Player on and off when it,s Connected.
If this does,nt help.
Replace your USB lead, it is possibly broken internally, or player fault.

Zen v plus

Try a different USB cord if you have one and plug it in to a desktop computer (not a laptop). Leave it plugged in for a while and the battery might be charged enough to display the screen (happened to me on my zen vision M and this fixed it)

Won't recognize that it is connected

do you have media player 11?
ZenV Freezes
Have you tried updating the firmware of your Zen V Plus? I've had mine for almost an year and haven't had these issues -- I updated the firmware as soon as I unpacked it.
try downloading the
MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.

By the way, before updating the firmware, let the battery have a full charge, ok?

Computer wont recognize mp3 player

Hmmm when you plug it in to put music on it do you use the sync manager thing? thats what i use and sometimes it says theres no player connected even though there is, so i just keep plugging and unplugging until it works.. but then if that doesnt work i just go to  "Zen v series media explorer" it like lets you upload music there too.. hope you find something that works!
