Hello,
I have a pioneer DVD 104s installed. It reads all the CD-rom's (including a
dvd movie) but when I try to put a DVD-ROM (like Baldur's gate), win 98
crashes with a blue screen and then stops the computer. Does anybody knows
why ? Is there a specific driver to read DVD-Rom's under Win98 ?

I had the same kind of problem with this DVD drive....
Finally, I removed the use of DMA in the the Start>settings>system>CD
ROM>pioneer 104S menu,
and it works perfectly now.
If you enabled DMA, try to remove it... and let me know the result....
