Question about Zenith C32V37 32" TV
After about 40 minutes of operation the screen goes green in color with white vertical lines across the entire screen. By shutting the TV off for about 3 - 4 hours the picture will be fine for about another 40 minutes or so and then it does it again. What do you suspect the nature of the problem is and what parts would be needed to repair it? Thanks, Bob
Your problem is that you have a shorted transistor on your CRT board. You have 3 that will be located on CRT board and sometimes 3 on Main board. You need to look for the Green bias transistor. A three leg blk. trans. is shorted or going bad.

I think either your red and blue filaments are not fully intact causing the green to take over or you have other electronics like subwoofers too close to your tv.
Try degaussing your tv, it might have a degaus button at the back or check the menu.
If you've tried those things without luck, respond with more details.
Hope that helped.
