No Picture, no Sound but menu still useable.

I was just given a Sanyo 27" TV, The lady said that it just quick working for no reason. The menus all seem to work and volumn up and down work although I only hear static. I have satilite hook up. What could possible be wrong with the TV
I have the same problem

B+ voltage to run tuner missing = open resistor in power supply
Or bad tuner ? Did you try the A / V inputs on back of set? What
is the Model # ?
