Question about Aiptek DV5100M Camcorder
I put in new batteries, the led is on, i don't have the manual for it and i can't figure out why it won't turn on.
There is a switch under the LCD; make sure it is set to "on" position. Here's a link for the manual; http://www.goaiptek.com/manuals/manual-pkdv51.pdf
Sounds like your unit is toast. The flash on the main board has been deleted. I simply do not think that can be fixed, but HANG ON TO IT! I have been wrong many, many times. Research ways to reflash the unit; not very easy with today's save-a-buck manufacturing methods, but dang worth a try. I'm very sorry for your loss. :(
