Error 1439 cant restore ipod keeps on popping. my ipod is a classic black.

  1. Disconnect and reconnect your iPod to iTunes, and then attempt to restore or update the iPod again.
  2. Restart your computer and then attempt to restore or update the iPod again.
  3. Try connecting your iPod to a different USB port, and then attempt to restore or update the iPod again. Connecting to a USB 2.0 port is recommended. For Windows computers, refer to Identifying USB 2.0 ports on your computer for instructions.
  4. Remove any USB devices not manufactured by Apple that you have connected to your computer (it is not necessary to remove your keyboard or mouse). Then, attempt to restore or update the iPod again.
  5. Update to the latest version of iTunes, and then attempt to restore or update the iPod again.
  6. Try to restore or update the iPod again using a different user account for your computer. For example, create a new test user account on the computer with admin rights, and with iTunes installed, try to restore/update the iPod.
  7. Try disabling Disk Use on your iPod and attempt to restore or update the iPod again. If that doesn't work, try enabling Disk Use on your iPod and attempt to restore/update. Refer to Putting iPod into Disk Mode below for instructions.*
  8. If using a Windows PC to restore or update your iPod, try to reregister ".dll" files as described below this list.**
  9. If using a Windows PC, try to update or reinstall your Windows USB drivers, referring to the section titled "iPod only: Updating, or in some cases reinstalling, the drivers for your computer's USB interface may resolve this issue."

Trying to down load song from my lap top when synk it wounts to remove all song to in stall 12 songs?

I think you are trying to sync with a different library than your own original library that you synced your ipod before. OR the original songs that are in your ipod are no longer in your library. There is a option that you could sync songs manually.
1. Connect your iPod 2. Start iTunes 3. Click on your iPod 4. Check option that says Manually sync songs
Now you can sync your music without deleting the old songs. I hope

I charged my ipod touch 4th gen, with a zune adapter, and when i hook up the ipod it wount show up in my itunes, i have about 20-25 games on there, so if i reset of reconfigure my ipod would i lose all...

if you synced the iPod with the computer after you put the games on, but before it crashed, then iTunes should keep track of your games. there is a section in iTunes that will show you all your apps (i don't remember exactly were) any apps that show up in that area you will still have after the reset.

How to reformat my ipod using itunes?

How to Reformat iPod In order to reformat iPod to work on both Mac and PC, connect your iPod to a Windows computer. Then follow the steps in the how to restore your iPod article. This will reset your iPod and format it for Windows.
Now, resync your iPod with the computer that contains your iTunes library. ITunes will ask you if you want to erase and sync the iPod. If you say yes, this will redownload your iTunes library to the iPod.
At this point, you may also need a way to easily move your iTunes library to the second computer. A quick way to do this is with software that copies the contents of your iPod to a computer. Learn more about iPod copy and backup software here.
Checking iPod Format Each time you sync your iPod, you can check what format it is. In the iPod management screen in iTunes, there’s some data at the top of the window next to the image of your iPod. One of those items is “Format,” which tells you how your iPod is formatted.

Downlaod-error messege when attempting to reset iPod classis

If when you have a new ipod and you connect it to a computer, if the first computer you connect it to is a mac, then that is the only type of pc it will work with after that. If you want it to connect it to a windows, you will have to restore it which will allow it to work with windows software. For some reason unknown, mac and windows have different loading software for the ipod and has to be re-installed with a restore before it can work with a different operating system. When it restores on your computer, check to make sure it has a strong internet connection. You should be able to restore after that.
