MY MOTHER WENT TO TURN ON THE TV AND NOTHING HAPPENED. A RED LED ON THE FRONT OF THE TV KEEPS FLASHING. SIX FLASHES

The 6 blinks are indeed an error code indicating the problem circuit. It is possible to repair this yourself either with a board swap or board repair if you can solder. I'll look up the specific model later today and post the probable defective parts. One question though: were there any indications of problems prior to the set not starting?
