Question about Jack Lalanne Power Juicer 250 Watts
After about a half hour I finally figured it out. I'll go through all the steps.
1. Remove pusher from chute.
2. Pull the locking bar down over the spout.
3. Remove lid.
4. This part is tricky. Stick the orange crescent tool into the blade holes and while holding the filter basket steady with one hand, turn the blade couterclockwise while pulling up.You do have put a little muscle into it. And remember, if you don't hold the filter steady, the whole damn thing just spins.
5. Remove the receptacle.
Good juicer, but it seems unnecessarily complicated.

Hi all,I got the solution! After loosing my instructions I dissassembled past the blade. I have a white 250 watt (I found that on the side of the juicer it just says250W ) You will need a plilips screw driver to take the 3 screws that are in the blade, take out the screws.Pull the silver handle over the juicer so its on the side where the juice comes out, it should lock in. Then where the blade used to be ther is a round orange plastic. Holding the basket so it doesn't move, turn (as hard as you can) counterclockwise un til it screws off.If you don't have strong hands get your husband, friend, brother who has strong hands or put some strong arms into it. once you get that off every thing under it just comes off till you get to the moter. Rember to UNPLUG the unit, and don't loose the screws to the blade.TADAA...I knew I could figure it out.
If you have the tool that came with the juicer its orange with a prong on both ends. U put those into the holes on. the blade and same as above put the silver bar on the side where the juice comes out. hold the basket and turn counterclockwise.I hope you all get your juicers dissassemble! mbatalis0913

There should be a wrench with two prongs on it included with the juicer. Those prongs fit in holes in the juicer shredder plate. Hold on to the basket and unscrew the plate, then the rest of the parts lift off. If you dont have the wrench, you can order one from the website for about $7.95 and shipping is free.

I've just dissassembled the top portion of juicer, now I need to wash the lower portion including the blade of juicer - I can't get it off and I don't want to force the removal for cleaning.
