New screen installation for clarion dvd player

The DVD players are usually installed by the automotive manufacturer, and are tied into the car's stereo system. It project audio into the car's speakers. aftermarket car dvd units also can tie into the car's speaker systems, but may have their own independent speakers. A lot of units come with the wired or wireless headphones, so you can watch a DVD in the backseat, without disturbing others. More information

Hello Could you tell me how to get the infrared

Hello... I am sorry to hear you are having problems. I am unsure if you bought this as a package deal with the headphones or purchased the headphones separately. If you purchased them separately, they may not be compatable. Headphones come in different frequencies. The reason for this is if you had 2 different dvd players and 1 kid was watching Spongebob and the other kid was watching Hannah Montana, they would not interfere with each other as far as sound. Some dvd players will allow you to change the output frequency of the IR (infrared) transmitter built into the dvd player. This feature would be in the menu section of your dvd player. Make sure the headphones are on properly, because if they are backwards, they may not read, because IR frequencies are "line of sight" meaning the receiver (headphones) has to see the transmitter (dvd player). You will see a tinted window that has 3 or 4 bulbs. That will be your transmitter. Make sure you have good batteries in the headphones and that you have them turned on. If you have power and have checked the IR frequency, and they were purchased aftermarket, then you may need a different set that receives the correct frequency. If this is a package deal and you have checked the batteries and they power up properly, you may have a bad IR transmitter inside the dvd player. With the info you provided I can only speculate at this point, but this gets you on a start. Let me know if I can help more! Good luck with your venture!!

I have a Kenwood 6140 installed in my Corvette Coupe. I have everything installed but the sound doesn't sound right. It lacks something and I'm thinking that the subs aren't on! Could this be my problem...

Normally if you have a factory ampped system and you remove the factory headunit you lose things like the factory sub. There are only 4 outputs on an aftermarket sub. In order to make your subs work you will need an aftermarket amp.

No sound from wireless headphones in a toyota sienna

First thing to do is check to make sure that the batteries are properly charged.

Second, make sure that you have a clear line-of-site to the IR transmitter. Infrared (IR) works the same way that your TVs remote control works - if the signal is blocked, then you will not hear any sound.

Third, make sure that you are in the rear seat of the vehicle when listening to the sound. The IR transmitter only transmits to the rear seat, so you will not hear any sound if you are sitting in the front seats. This is a common problem that i see.

Lastly, make sure that the heapdhones you purchased are compatible with your 2006 2007 2008 2009 or 2010 Toyota Sienna. Remember that some older models require RF headphones, not IR headphones. I checked for compatibility before I purchased my headphones. They have a useful listing of all the headphones and models of vehicles they are compatible with.

Wireless Headphone not working with my portable DVD player

Firstly, make sure your DVD have built-in IR wireless module so that your headphone can receive the audio signal from your DVD player.

Second, it should be clear which frequency transmitted from your DVD player. Generally speaking, there are two frequency of IR transmitter. One is 2.3MHz/2.8MHz. another is 3.2MHz/3.87MHz. Only emission frequency same as receiver can receive the audio signal.
