Question about Candy 24 in. CD622 Free-standing Dishwasher
Its either the element or the motor, check element for visible signs of damage then if ok remove wires from it and ( making sure to insulate them ) and run the machine if it works then the element needs replacing. and if it doesnt then its the motor.

Has the door got heavier recently?
Mine had a spring break which fell onto the electrics and shorted them. Unplug and empty it, then tip it up to see if you can see a loose spring. If it is then replace or re-fit the old spring, I have posted instructions and pictures here:

the dishwasher element or pump has grounded,disconnect them seperate to iliminate which one,follow safety guidelines when operating on electrics hope this helps
