Remove off the battery use a hair dryer to warm off carefully the display not get it hot but just see if this is any moisture build up.
replace battery and check for any change , is so repeat softly in short time.
If not the display unit can be getting bad as the LCD might have failure within the matrix.
Hey bella143, The length of the video you can record is not determined by the camera it is determined by the size of the memory card you use. This camera comes with a 512mb memory card, and this camera should be able to record about 45 minutes of video on a 1gb card which should be about 22 minutes of video on a 512mb card. This of course is assuming your memory card is empty. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
After only 15 days mine did the same thing. I called the dealer Olympus and they gave me a RAN number and told me where to send it. I got a call about a week later. They said because the camera had moisture inside I was not coverd. The best they would do is mail me a rebate card for 25 dollars off my next purchase. I was like WTF. The woman said sorry but that was all they could do. When I asked to speak to manager she hung up.
