A dark point/spot

Hello,
I've got this 770sw olympus camera and i started noticing a small (but visible) dark point in the display when i'm aiming but also when the picture is taken and i have it transferred to my computer.  what could it possibly be?

Hello, my 770 sw has a dark spot too, the lens is clean, i can see the dark spot on the LCD and on the pictures taken, for example, when shooting to the sky. The black spot is on the upper right corner of the aim square.

Contact the Munufacturer or return to seller if under warranty this appaears to be a common CCD problem
