one of our " wok" burners on a gas miele cooktop will ignite but wont stop clicking. this problem developed after months of no problems
All four burners will not stop clicking. I used Kates suggestion and cleaned around the ignitor thing on all four burners; but no luck yet, even with one or more burners on, the other still click.....

On a Jenn Air cooktop, I started having the clicking problem with one burner about a year ago. This evening it started up again when I wasn't even in the kitchen and now all four burners are doing it. I had to turn off power to most of the kitchen.

Yes, I have the same problem. The igniter will not stop clicking when I try to turn the burner off. This happens every time I use convection bake, so I think there is a connection. This is a gas burner on a Gas Free-Standing Convection Range.

i have same problem on my thermador. i thought it was because burners got wet, but they seem dry and clicking persists.
