Question about Disney Pix Micro Digital Camera
Software took awhile to load but everythings installed, as well as the Pix downloader. When I plug in the Camera w/USB nothing happens. Computer does not recognize it. But Camera is on.Click on the downloader icon and states "I cannot find Camera" What to do?? Camera is full but unable to retrieve pics! Operating Sys: ME
The error typically occurs when the camera is connected to the computer before the software is installed and the drivers do not install correctly.
With the camera connected click on the Start Menu, right click on your My Computer Icon and click Properties.
In the System Properties window click the Hardware tab and then click Device Manager.
Under Imaging Devices find the USB Still Camera, right click on it and choose uninstall. If you do not see it under Imaging Devices it may be under Other Devices or Universal Serial Bus Controllers as an Unknown Device. Once it has been uninstalled disconnect the camera and close the screens you have open and disconnect the camera and reboot your computer. Then go to their website and download the drivers and run the driver installer twice to uninstall and then to reinstall and reboot.
After the second boot connect the camera and follow the found new hardware wizard prompts to finish and you should be set.

I found a setup program for the vista driver at: http://digiblue.com/customer-service/downloads/index.html
It will ask to uninstall the driver first. Uninstall and ther re-install the driver.
Reboot the system. The cannot find camera error shows up several more times. It appears that an adobe photoshop album starter application installed that allows to you view and edit photos. In adobe reader there is camera icon, select the camera "from camera". Then choose "Get photos from - Pix Click Camera".
I hope this helps. It was a long and frustrating process but it finally worked.

I also have this problem with both of my daughters cameras. I tired uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times. After contacting online support...my call was terminated....I'm guessing on purpose. There seems to be no solution
