The problem is when I put the dvd in the player does not recognize it eject,
I do not know what else to do?

I got a solution telling me " need to find root directory for dvd recorder" is not clear what who ever mean by that,
please could you explain in more details.

I put a DVD disc and after 5 sec.... the disc go out....

When I load a dvd disc - it acts like it is loading but the screen says eject and after about 5 seconds the disc ejects

i have the same problem, my machine is like 2 years old and i have transferred over 300 vhs tapes to dvd. well, when i put the dvd in and it shows it is loading on the tv, i tap the right corner of the machine where i loaded the dvd and then it like resets the dvd i dont know if it isnt seated right or more or less a faulty sensor of some kind. It always works though. It is time to get a new recorder soon for me anyways. Well good luck with the tap and play sequence.
