Sony Handycam DCR-HC21 Mini DV Digital Camcorder

Records audio but no video

Viewfinder and LCD screens are both blank. Lens cover is open. Sometimes get "Cover Not Open" message in viewfinder and LCD screen, even when lens cover is open. Camera records audio but not video. Tape is correct because it recorded other image and sound on it when camera was working.

Replace the ccd base assumbly and check.
