SOURCE: Everything in picture on television are green

The basic colors in the TV is RGB & each color has a diff amplitude & frequenc. It seems that the IC controlling the RED & BLUE has lost some of it's capabilities due to lower voltage supplied/regulated by the chip, which generally happens after quite long period of usage. However this seems an inherent fault with visio & most of the early sets do not have this problem sorted out at the manufacturing level & is a problem for most of TV's which are unpredictable & could occur in a month or year. If still under warranty, pressurize your dealer/distributor/service center to sort it pronto or ........... face the consequence..........sodeep

Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics’ and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like, to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
hope this helps...

My tv picture has gone green, what can i do?

If you are using RGB cables make sure they have not come loose. If you have a box of some sort (cable or SAT) you may need a new box. If you have a DVD hooked up to it and it is OK it is not your TV.

Evenly spaced vertical lines

Check the smoothing capacitor to video output supply voltage, usually derived from any one winding of the LOT. It will come around 10uF350VDC to 47uF 350VDC range. If this capacitor is faulty, or gone less in capacitance with time, this type of fault will occur. Check the green volour output transistor on the video output card, can be located attached to the neck of the picture tube; for any loose soldering or leakage. OK.

Green Tint on half of the screen

This is most likely a defect in the optical unit (about $1500.00 part). If out of warranty probably will just have to live with it. Those op units are also hard to get.

It sounds similar to my Toshiba 62HM195 that I posted about except my screen is spit down the middle and my bottom half is messed up but the upper half is Ok.  I have been told it is a bad Light Engine Part # 23405481.
