Toshiba W522 VHS VCR

Not enough channels

I am trying to set up my Toshiba VHS w522CG with my Bell Express Vu satellite and JVC TV. I have been able to to everything but the channel scan won;t go higher than 125 on the VCR whereas mu sattelite goes up to Channel 900? Is there anything I ca do?
I have the same problem

The history of broadcasting is one of adding more and more channels. The older the VCR, the less cable channels it will get.
