Lens is stuck in the extended position. Turn off
Lens is stuck in the extended position. Turn off and on and it emits 2 buzzing noise like it's trying to retract the lens and then this error message pops up: system error (focus)

- No, sometimes when I turned it off and back on would let the lens retract and then extend again, so no dirt is stuck. It still under warranty so I ended up sending it back to Panasonic.Best Solution

There could be sand or dirt in the mechanism. This would mean getting the camera serviced. With Canon cameras with similar problems, some people have found gently applying a twisting, pushing or pulling force to the lens barrel has freed it up. Good luck!
