(More) i have a 2001 ford taurus 3.0 engine, a 402 code egr valve problem i changed the vacuum solenold, the egr valve it self would hold when you push the plunger in and put your finger on it. some times it runs great then it starts missing and useing more gas, some times you can smell gas (out side of the car when you turn it off.what does the backpressure sensor do and could this be the problem. thanks for your help i also think i hear a vacuum leak some times I recommend: | Change 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 What is this?
