Paper Jam...and no paper is in side (by 2 users)

I keep trying to print and it takes paper half way and then says paper jam and there is no paper jammed inside......PLLLLLZZZZZZZ Help !!!

ApprenticeI've just fixed this on my x5470. I unplugged the power. Then I manually forced a thick piece of card through the printer. it was a bit fiddly and quite inky. But something like a piece of dead moth was dislodged. This wasn't visible beforehand. Now it is working again.

make sure the machine is clean inside and you have the right paper
