I plug in my 2gb cruzer flash drive and i try to
i plug in my 2gb cruzer flash drive and i try to open it, but the computer says "You need to format the disk in drive J: before you can use it. Do yuo want to format?" i click format disk, then i click start. then a warning pops up about erasing all my data, its not really important so i click okay.the downloading stops at the same spot ant says it cannot format. WHAT DO I DO?!?!?

your flash drive has gone bad and nothing can be done buy a new one. as it happend with me too.

The drive could be dead, however first I would run a scan disk on it. Open My Computer and right-click the drive and choose properties. You should see a tools tab or something similar depending on your operating system. There should be an option for error-checking. Run that and see what it finds.
