I just purchased a 4gb memory card for my canon powershot sd700 and it reads memory card error-card locked. I put my old 2gb card in and it works just fine. I took the 4gb back to the store and bought another 4gb card-different brand and it does the same thing. What do I do?

ok, first off:
make sure the card is compatible with the camera and the camera is compatible with the card (reffer to the manuals of both products).
if all checks out, contact the manufacturer of the camera first, then do the same with the card.
if everything works up to this point, but you still cant get it to work, get a new camera.
