I have upgraded my imac operating system to snow leopard-10.6. now my HP laserjet m1005 mfp won't scan. printing works ok. hp haven't upgraded the driver yet. any ideas?

I have been using my CanonScan LiDE 70 on the laptop. The laptop died. I am trying to use the scanner with another computer but have lost the original software disc that came with the scanner. The new computer (equipped with Vista) did an internet search and downloaded lide70vst641210ea14us. The scanner reacts when the computer powers up but nothing happens when I push the PDF button.

Can anyone help? Thanks
