Three days ago I installed a Hunter Ceiling fan along with the hunter universal fan and light remote control. The whole system works perfectly except for one problem. When I turn the light off with the remote control it will come on again by itself (spontaneously). This usually happens about 1-2 hours after I turn it off. I have put the controller button side up with nothing near it to make sure nothing accidentally touches it but this still occurs. Also it has only occurred at night.
im realy not trying to be a smart a*s but bont you only ever use lights at night?? i know i do?
it sounds like its the programer chip within the light that giving you the problem if taking the batterys out the controler dont stop this, its down to the light,
well there is one other thing it may be,,,
a friendly gost playing tricks on you???
or it could be that its getting a surge or spike of power from some were and that tricks the controler in the light to turn itself on???
sorry about that bit of fun as first just could not resist it????

As soon as I mount the control in the box, it will not transmit signal. If I move it 1/2" out, it works perfect. I can even move into next room and it still works but when mounted, nothing. What could cause the signal to fail?
