Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
My psp won't power up, when i move the switch nothing happens. No green light, tried removing battery and putting back in nothing happens. Tried connecting power lead with battery in and out with no result.
Last used it a week ago was working fine, went to play it last night and was dead, presumed battery dead so I put on charge orange light came on. Tried to use this morning and nothing

It sounds like your PSP is "bricked". Have you upgraded the firmware or added custom firmware? If so, you'll need a Pandoras battery/memory card to repair. Try ebay for those.

Try taking the battery out and plugging it into the wall with only the charger and see if it turns on. does The green light came on?.

Open the battery compartment, and remove the battery. Look at the bottom inside corner for a little square sticker with has marks on it. is it dark or light, If it is dark, your PSP has come in contact with moisture. I suspect that your PSP has gotten wet or damp. If the sticker is dark, you need to keep your battery out for about 2 days, and keep the UMD door open and the whole PSP kept in a dry environment. Try it after 2 days of drying to see if it is recovered. Good luck Gohan....
