My acer had this problem. I heard of an odd fix. If you have an photos in your picture directory move them to another folder. THis actually worked for me once. Otherwise I would try to reinstall the driver.

it sounds like the application could need reinstalling, if you have a copy of the application or know where to download it from, reinstall it.
