i av a sagem axium hd-d56 tv and it keeps turning itself off , there is a light that appears and keeps flashing it as a picture like a key upside down

i have a sagem axium dlp rear projector 50" tv which was workng fine yesterday and now today i turn it on and it comes on for a few seconds then goes back into shut down mode (flashing orange light) then goes back onto standby (solid red light). the bulb light hasn't come on nor the temperature llght so am assuming that those are not the problem but don't know what it could be any help would be much appreciated
