Question about Computers & Internet
My daughter received an ipod for christmas we hooked it up to our acer aspire t-180. we had sound last night on the computer got up today and we have no sound. computer says its working but its not. I took the speakers off and plugged them into her ipod and they work. plugged them back into the pc and nothing. help me please.
i have a packard bell imedia 5077 computer, which has been in storage for just over a month due to moving house, on setting up the computer i now find i have no sound on start up, and no sound when playing cd's or dvd's i have also had a new monitor for xmas a HP w19 wide screen which i have set up but still no sound, is this a problem with sound drivers, can someone please help me get my sound back
Are you using itunes to play your music? There are a number of different volume controls, double click the little speaker icon in the bottom right corner, make sure all the volume levels are at maximum and that the mute box isn't ticked. If you have a media keyboard with volume controls make sure volume is up and again not muted. Failing that double check your speakers are plugged into the correct socket, usually the green one.
