i HAVE A 47" PANASONIC REAR PROJECTION TV. pURCHASED NEW FROM CIRCUIT CITY DEC 2001. wORKS EXCELLECNTLY NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT. NOT USED AS MUCH AS A FAMILY ROOM TV, WHICH ARE ON CONTANTLY. WE WERE TOLD THAT THESE WERE NOT OPTIMUM FOR GAMING THAT WAS FINE FOR NOW. WE ARE LOOKING TO REPLACE IT WITH A LCD. WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD SELLING PRICE FOR THIS OLD UNIT.

Our TV (Sony KP-51WS500) is about 8 years old. Recently the picture lossed it's proper color. We think maybe the green tube went out because the picture now seems very dark with reds and black, with absolutely no green. Because the TV is 8 years old we are wondering if it is even worth repairing at this point? The picture has been great all these years and we would like to keep it around for the kids to play their video games etc. I'm wondering how difficult it would be to order the necessary replacement parts, and install them too keep this TV around for our family? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
