Question about Kodak EasyShare C613 Digital Camera
After transferring images my camera will no longer switch on
As mentioned above, Kodak suggested upgrading the firmware in the camera. I did this last week (from version 1.3 to version 1.4) and the problem appears to have gone away.

The same thing happened to me...after attempting to sync with my computer, the camera would not turn on...I was ready to send it in for repair. I tried new regular batteries and tested the batteries that were in the camera. Apprently, there has to be a certain amount of charge left for the camera to turn on. After putting brand new lithium batteries in, it finally came back on. I have a C613 and it would not run on regular batteries. Good to know!

Are you using Lithium batteries?
Most Kodak models are only happy running on Lithium batteries.
I have two Kodak cameras, both had various power-related problems. Since using Lithium batts, not a single glitch.
They are more expensive, but they end up costing less compared to the amount of alkaline batts replaced.
Worth a try.
