Question about HP Pavilion F1703 17" LCD Monitor
Model f1703 tft monitor not working.display goes on/off continiously.my name is Debjit das, working in redington india ltd.pune,as monitor engineer.I checked the monitor and found power supply faulty. But i have a little doubt about the fault.please help.My e mail id is email@example.com.
This is an easy fix. It's not the power, but rather bad solder joints for one or all of the four coils on one of your circuit board. For instructions and good photos, see: http://www.lesliewong.us/blog/2005/05/02/hp-pavilion-f1703-flat-panel-display-blackout-solution/

Use the economical approach replace the ac power supply if this doesnt work replace your monitor with a new one.
Because its probably the same amount of cost to fix it as it is to get a new monitor.
