Lcd monitor problem

Model f1703 tft monitor not working.display goes on/off name is Debjit das,working in redington india ltd.pune,as monitor engineer.I checked the monitor and found power supply faulty.But i have a little doubt about the fault.please help.My e mail id is

This is an easy fix. It's not the power, but rather bad solder joints for one or all of the four coils on one of your circuit board. For instructions and good photos, see:

Use the economical approach replace the ac power supply if this doesnt work replace your monitor with a new one.
Because its probably the same amount of cost to fix it as it is to get a new monitor.

My lcd is hpl1908w its display goes of 5 minutes on first starup and when its displays goes off i on and off the monitor display comes for fews seconds and then goes off again lcd light is green but...

well if your lcd has no bulge capacitors test your tft lamp both top & down of the screen( particularly top) with spare tft lamp. or use another screen to test it. secondly, test the c5607 transistors in the inverter section but if you know how to use spare tft lamp very well , you will easily detect between your screen & the inverter

Please don't get advise from India, this model has a known "Inverter" problem. Order a new one on ebay, and replace it... Problem solved!!

go to my copmuter--->right click--->properties.
Click on the HARDWARE tab ---> Device manager
click the (+) on display adapters and see the name of your video card.
Go online and download the relevant display update.
should solve the problem.

X2 gen 17" lcd monitor, no display

This indicates either a problem with the monitor cable(ie shorted) or the display adapter. Try plugging the monitor into a different computer and if it works you will need to install a new display adapter in your computer. If it doewn't work on the new one either you can try a different monitor cable if yours isn't permanently connected. Hope this helps

DELL E172FPb, E173FPb. HP Pavilion F1703, Pavilion F1503. If you can't get this item to work let me know, I can help I have fixed a lot of these monitor with no problem.

LCD monitor

Normally TFT monitor backlights have a life of around 40,000hrs .Open up the monitor and check visually for bulged leaky capacitors.This monitor is reputed to fail due to dry solders on Inverter pcb.
