Here's a useful answer. Your S1000 can take any current Secure Digital card. Because it is SDHC compliant, you can take advantage of the latest technology and use 64 gig (and even bigger!) cards. My caution here is not to buy huge memory cards. You'll be tempted to store zillions of images on one card, without backing them up to disks or drives. If the monster card ever fails, you've lost a lot of images. My advice is for your 10mp camera to go no larger than 8 gb's.

I have plugged my finepix into laptop USB Port to make Skype call but there appears to be no signal. What do I need to do to get computer to recornise camera. Dwonloading images has not been a problem
