My Hotpoint washer is not draining water...it starts its cycle, but when it get to the spin/drain cycle, it doesnt do anything...I have checked all the hoses I can think of...what could it be?

Take the front panel off by using a putty knife to push in the two clips at the seam where the front panel meets the washer's top. Dissmount the water pump and remove the hoses. (be ready to deal with the water which will come gushing out of the tub) Remove blockage in the pump. Re-assemble and test.
