The solution to this problem is to do a hard reset which is a bit challenging because of the limited buttons and small interface screen. My mother has her own ps c6380 with the same problem and was resolved by the steps found on this site http://out-of-warranty.com/ink-system-failure-error-0xc18a-hp/ This website has helped us with all the issues we have on all different HP models.
It's probably telling you it is out of ink.
The ink system can fail if the cartridges in the product are installed
incorrectly, if the ink in the cartridge is low or out, or if the
cartridges are damaged or not correctly vented.
