Question about Heating & Cooling
Some some remote control have RST or RESET button, you have to push this every time you change the battery or for malfunction remote control. You can find this either in front of remote control or at the back of the remote in battery compartment.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello friend, thank you for your post!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire air conditioner, FAZ08HS1A, is not heating up or changing fan speeds. From what you are describing it sounds like a potential problem with the control board or sensor. I would suggest performing a reset on your air conditioner and you can do that by disconnecting power from it for ten minutes. Are you under warranty? I would consult with the manufacturer for further resolution regarding your air conditioner. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt
