Hi go into your windows media player and on the left hand side where it says to build a playlist once you have plugged your mp3 player it will then say sansa just drag the songs from window media library to sansa in left pane then click start sync

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Sansa 40gb e260 dont know how to put music on it . dont have manuel

For the Sansa e260 4 GB there are 2 versions for the e200 series players:
version 1 manual
version 2 manual
Check the version of your Sansa e200 series:
go to Settings > Info.

SD card compatibility:
For 01.xx.xx firmware (e200 version 1) - up to 2GB microSD cards
For 03.xx.xx firmware (e200 version 2) - up to 16GB microSDHC cards
NOTE: Firmware is not interchangeable.

Download music to my scandisk sansa e260

When you turn on the player, select the music menu, and then scroll down until the playlists logo appears - select that and then your playlist name should be there.

If it still isn't there, then the songs that you tried to sync have some sort of licensing restriction on them that does not allow them to be synced to a portable device - wmp will show them as synced, but alas - they will never actually show up on the player.

E260 installation problem

Actually, the disk that comes with the sansa e260 is really only for putting videos on it. The player will add any music put on regularly. The disk is a software that converts certain file types into others so the player can play them. Music is mostly .mp3 files if you get them from cds( in my experience) so you should hve no problem. If you still need help, here's a link.
This person knows what they're talking about. There's also the Sandisk website for troubleshooting.

I don't have disk

OK, we need to know what kind of CD - is it the drivers or a music CD? If you wish to put videos on an mp3 media player with video capability, they will have to be in .mp4 format.
If you're trying to put music on a CD to be played on any device, it will have to be .cda format.

Frozen in song.

The sansa e260 seems to have a hell of alot of faults. If SanDisk brings out a firmware upgrade definately take it, also I would strongly suggest that you write a letter to ScanDisk letting them know the grief it has caused you. I have an e260 and it has not had any problems so far, so I guess theres a little give or take sorta thing happening here.
