when I set the wash cycle temperature on cold water the water just trickels in. The warm and hot cycle temperature is fine. I have checked the valve., and it it turned on. My machine is around 16 years old.
I have the same problem
I know someone who can solve this problem

Shut off power and the valve on wall. Unscrew the hose from the wall faucet & check for blocks in the small screens, and on machine water entry valve also. Could be just some dirt or something; the screens are important. If possible also check the dispenser area.
